Adventures in Legal Land Seminars & Workshops - Dealing with Legal Attacks
Written by Marc Stevens Friday, 06 November 2009 11:40
I'm setting up seminars and workshops for this year regarding dealing with legal attacks. This is for damage control; once attacked by a bureaucrat you've already lost; this is to limit the damage they are going to do.
* How to effectively cross-examine/question a witness to have him/her declared incompetent
This is the infamous IRS call where the agent laughs when he asserts he doesn't need proof. It's refreshing to see some honesty from the low level tyrants.

Time Is Money (not) by NonEntity
Written by Marc Stevens Wednesday, 01 October 2008 09:57
I have work to do. But I'm waiting. It's been overcast and rainy, and my solar panels have not kept up with my time on the computer, so now I need to give them the time they need to catch up with me. I sit. I'm reading a beautiful book, a memorial to John Lennon. (Imagine!) I glance out the window and admire the stark beauty of the thunderheads building against the rich blue background of high desert sky. Time is money, I think. And then some other part of my brain pipes up and says, "WHAT???" I sit up a bit straighter and try and figure out what just happened.
Keep the Revolution Going

“I do not ask that you place your hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but merely that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break into pieces." -- Etienne de la Boetie, Discourse on Voluntary Servitude
If the Ron Paul revolution is really about the message of freedom, freedom of each individual man and woman, then let’s keep the momentum going and start doing things that will really bring that about.

I love the idea of getting wealthy while putting government out of business; it’s a take on the bet in Trading Places between Louis Winthorpe and Billy Ray Valentine. I believe we can do it. It’s right in line with the quote Carl Watner has on voluntaryist.com:
The end goal is freedom, a voluntary society. Government, men and women providing services on a compulsory basis – pay or get shot – destroys freedom. Governments do not exist to protect freedom, only to take it away. If you doubt this, then read this political opinion, in particular, page 10; it's the Souza case I've mentioned on my radio show. Violence is the problem, therefore, the solution must be non-violent, e.g., productive.
