Adventures in Legal Land Seminars & Workshops - Dealing with Legal Attacks

I'm setting up seminars and workshops for this year regarding dealing with legal attacks. This is for damage control; once attacked by a bureaucrat you've already lost; this is to limit the damage they are going to do.

Seminars & workshops are one day long, usually from 9am to 5pm, sometimes till we get asked to leave.

You'll learn the foundational information so you know and understand why asking questions is so effective. The most effective strategy and method to getting tyrants to leave you alone is to be non-confrontational and to destroy the facade the tyrant is putting up. We make it impossible for the tyrant to make the charade look good. It's very uncomfortable to contradict yourself in front of people who think you're a black-robed god.

Asking if there's evidence of a complaining party is effective, but much more so when you know why and can back it up. Judges can tell when you are not confident and will definitely do what they need to do to get you off-point. We go through a lot of information, including:

* The nature of government and of tyrants' "due process" procedures

* How to write and file motions, including appeals and stopping trials/hearings

* How to effectively cross-examine/question a witness to have him/her declared incompetent

* Why focusing on the witness's competency and the facts is more effective than raising legal arguments

* You'll also learn how to not only get IRS and other agents to admit they don't have any evidence or proof, but how to effectively follow-up and have them stop laughing.

This is the infamous IRS call where the agent laughs when he asserts he doesn't need proof. It's refreshing to see some honesty from the low level tyrants.

Each paid admission includes a criminal script and motion template we'll be using at the workshop, both sell separately for $25 each. Admission is $75 per man, woman, and $125 for couples. We'll be working extensively with each and doing role-playing and mock trial proceedings.

I have tentative arrangements and dates set for three workshops, pre-registration is encouraged, please register soon to ensure the below dates. You can register by using the donation button on the homepage or by sending cash, check or money order to Marc Stevens P.O. Box 31258 Mesa, Arizona 85275-1258.

Time Is Money (not) by NonEntity

I have work to do.  But I'm waiting.  It's been overcast and rainy, and my solar panels have not kept up with my time on the computer, so now I need to give them the time they need to catch up with me.  I sit.  I'm reading a beautiful book, a memorial to John Lennon. (Imagine!)  I glance out the window and admire the stark beauty of the thunderheads building against the rich blue background of high desert sky.  Time is money, I think.  And then some other part of my brain pipes up and says, "WHAT???"  I sit up a bit straighter and try and figure out what just happened.

“I do not ask that you place your hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but merely that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break into pieces." -- Etienne de la Boetie, Discourse on Voluntary Servitude

If the Ron Paul revolution is really about the message of freedom, freedom of each individual man and woman, then let’s keep the momentum going and start doing things that will really bring that about.

I love the idea of getting wealthy while putting government out of business; it’s a take on the bet in Trading Places between Louis Winthorpe and Billy Ray Valentine.  I believe we can do it.  It’s right in line with the quote Carl Watner has on voluntaryist.com:

"If one takes care of the means, the end will take care of itself."

The end goal is freedom, a voluntary society.  Government, men and women providing services on a compulsory basis – pay or get shot – destroys freedom.  Governments do not exist to protect freedom, only to take it away.  If you doubt this, then read this political opinion, in particular, page 10; it's the Souza case I've mentioned on my radio show.  Violence is the problem, therefore, the solution must be non-violent, e.g., productive.
