Tax tag ticket - KeithOB - 12-09-2011 10:43 PM

I have left out lots of details. In a nut shell this was my ride threw Legal land.Location:near Toronto,Canada

My Adventure in Legal Land.
I attended the informal hearing, but prier I sent in the letter to dismiss. All parties involved must have copy. Also I found that having the letter to vacate with you, will maybe save you some time. You will find out why as you read on.Marc suggest's we do this.

On with the informal hearing....I ask the set up questions to the judge,in this case he was a JP Justice of the Peace. All of the questions are in Marc's scripts at the store. http://marcstevens.net/store
I am entitled to a fair hearing according to JP McDonald.
My turn to cross examine the cop.Again all of the questions are at Marc's store.
The cop did not understand my second question."How many elements are in a valid cause of action?" Not only did I ask it again, the JP him self asked the cop the question. The cop turned to him and said "I do not know sir".
Well that was enough for me,so I spoke up and said "How can I get a fair trial if your witness can not give me a responsive answer for my defense" I also told the JP that all charges should be dropped due to his Incompetence. To make a long story short, the JP steamrolled me with the Law's and traffic acts.
In closing the JP said that yes there is no cause of action and the charges should be dropped, but I am gonna charge you anyway........

Now I see why the letter to vacate is handy to have the day of the informal hearing.

Day of the appeal.December 5th 2011
I arrived at 9 am,start time was 9:30.I lost the yellow slip with the court room number.I went to info and found out im at 303 court.3rd floor is for family court.I went in and there was the prosecutor, she said to me oh good you made it,she said she saw me running around looking for the courtroom.I just said, yes i was......and it was much smaller than the other courtrooms I was previously at,I had no choice but to sit beside her.
2 cases went ahead then i was up.The prosecutor had some papers and said we are going ahead with the trial. Then spewed forth some legal jargon, and then so did the judge. What i got out of what they just said, was that the charges are dropped. The judge asked me if i knew what they were saying, and i said im not a lawyer i do not fully understand.

She said the crown has no evidence and the charges are dropped, and you are free to go.It happend so fast, not even a minute went by.But the judge had this big pleasant smile on her face as she said i was free to go......Shit i wanted to say"i was always free to go,but im here against my will.

Well it's a bummer they had to string you along before finally admitting they had no evidence, but hell that sort of admission is something to be proud of. Atleast they didn't try to bs you with more legal jargon.
