A Failure of Leadership - Documentary by Jan Helfeld
[youtube]u9sC10wyLOs[/youtube] YouTube.com | March 12, 2011: Our leaders have failed us: proof, contradictions, the reasons why, the journalists, and the solutions. Worth a watch. :frobro: I wonder if he'd be interested in coming on the show...? |

Re: A Failure of Leadership - Documentary by Jan Helfeld
Calvin Wrote:A Failure of Leadership - Documentary by Jan Helfeld Priceless: Governor Bill Richardson thinks people can delegate a right they don't have. The interviewer could see the governor wasn't comprehending the point he was making. Where the interview ends with Richardson saying: "I have to go," the expression on his face was priceless. He finally got the point the interviewer was making. The thought of how far the human race would have advanced absent initiatory force staggers the imagination. THE POINT: Unlike the government thief, a common thief doesn't claim his "craft" is honest. Lawyer-like dishonesty a point: The common thief is honest when he tells you he's robbing you. |

Note that Calvin didn't say it, the person that posted the video to YouTube said -- as quoted from the description box at the above YouTube video it says: "Our leaders have failed us: proof, contradictions, the reasons why, the journalists, and the solutions."

Noted. I do not want anyone to think that I believe my opinions should be enforced by gunpoint, or threat thereof. I like bi-winning by voluntarily interacting with society; behavior that government find impossible to demonstrate.

Calvin Wrote:Anyone interested in Jan coming on the No State Project radio show...? I imagine he might make for an interesting interview. I'm guessing, from what I've seen here, that he has a statist mindset verging towards a freedom mindset and it could make for interesting discussions. - NonE "I just don't understand how this happens."

I'd [strike]watch[/strike] 'er, I'd listen to that.
I glean that he's either a minarchist of some degree, or allows defining government as voluntary, with this narrow form being reasonable for some very basic services (police being one form I heard him mention in a chat with Stefban Molyneux). [note too, he says/admits to being an attorney] _______________________________

Wow-- that's quite a collection of psychopaths and parasites in that video. What a freakin' nightmare. To actually witness true insanity like that is incredibly disturbing. :'(

Well... Jan and I have exchanged a few emails, and he mentioned he is interested in coming on the show. So, I am waiting to hear back from Marc to see if he has any guests lined up and see if we can get these two guys chatting. Stay tuned. :wishmeluck:
