Constitutional Convention
Marc,

I seem to recall at some point you mentioned that the men who brought us the CONstitution intentionally deceived us in the process and that you found evidence of this in the records of the Constitutional Convention. Do you remember what you saw and/or where you read it? Just curious if it was obvious or if it takes a little digging. Thanks!

Re: Constitutional Convention
I can find evidence of this all over the Anti-Federalist papers. Not to mention, if you care to grant it any validity, the language of the Articles of Confederation. As far as "constitutions" go, the CONstitution is "unconstitutional" according to the Articles of Confederation.

Writers of certain Anti-Federalist papers talk about things like "perversion of language", in reference to the concept of "federalism", noting that the "Federalists" were in fact, monarchists or "nationalists", and that the true "federalists" were those who had to call themselves the "Anti-Federalists" because James Madison, Alexander Hamilton and their buddies had already taken the title "Federalists". That's just one of the deceptions the Anti-Federalists mention.
