Old Patriot with New Problem
Hello!
I have been a fan of Marc for many years, and I am glad to have found him during the opening of my eyes, 4 years ago.  I have chosen many battles, won some lost some, but am greatful that my children are starting to ask "WHY", and not just accept information as gold. So, in my little corner of my life, I consider my studies a success.

OK, so here is my issue. It deals with a "Uniform traffic Ticket".  I have seen the corruption of our system by studying the  sui juris website, and this one. I couldn't wait to get a ticket, because I wanted to utilize my techniques (very badly) but I am fortunate to either be very good at not getting caught breaking traffic law, or know too many people in the establishment to care enough not to get caught!!  However, I wasn’t so lucky (or maybe I am lucky) last week. I was issued a ticket for 47 in a 35 over a bridge, and pulled over by a townie from a different county.  I was rude to him purposely so I can be issued a ticket  Isnt that weird?

OK, so after questioning his jurisdiction to pull me over in a separate county, he said I observed you breaking the speed limit in my county. It took him about a mile into the new county before he put his lights on.  I saw him on the other side before I crossed the bridge, so I kind of knew what was about to happen.  When the officer pulled me over, he asked for my license...etc, I asked him why he stopped me. He said I clocked you doing 47 in a 30.  I asked where he was from, he said (enter town name here). I asked him if he had jurisdiction to pull me over in another county?  He responded, "You broke the law in my town".  (non responsive) Telling him I have a problem with that, I gave him my credentials (state issued). I videotaped with my phone my locale, time on car clock, and lights in the rear view mirror from police officers car.  When he returned with the ticket, I said "If I committed a crime in Germany, could you come to the US and arrest me in my state? His response was.."You didn't commit a crime" and left....  OK round one to him for me accepting his premise...my mistake.

He gave me my ticket (we dont have to sign in my state) along with a "supporting deposition" (interesting) printed out already on a "LOCAL CRIMINAL COURT" form.  The only thing on it is the basic ticket information, Patrolled  abc street and 123 street, and then STOPPED VEHICHLE....ready?.....East bound to the previous coodinates....never mentioning that he stopped me in a different town/county, and only referring to his county.  Then it says "in which you substantially state"..."I dont believe you can stop me you dont have jurisdiction".  A little poetic justice with my words, but whatever......

I am no longer afraid of the courts, but dont want to shoot myself in the foot either.  My court date is next week.  I could really use some insight on how to proceed, and can someone recommends a script to purchase from this site? Please remember this is not criminal court...yetSmile  If someone who has had success recently reads this, please contact me or add to this post.

I would love to hear from you.

Regards,

Campy

Re: Old Patriot with New Problem
Since neither one of us has had a reply. I will say howdy and welcome.  I have seen LEO follow motorists into other jurisdictions.  I believe they can only pursue if they are already in pursuit mode.  Besides not having subject matter jurisdiction, your cop has NO jurisdiction to authorize him/her to stop you.  You should get this dismissed .  I would challenge jurisdiction by mail.along with a denial of corporate status.

All the best,
Jack
