Israel: A new campaign to warn dog owners of high fines

Tel Aviv's municipality has launched a campaign to warn dog owners of high fines against leaving the dog shit on the floor - so "someone" has picked the shit up, and put it where it belongs... Right in their face! The attached note says: "Violence stinks way more than dog shit" - Civil disobedience in Israel

On a different, yet quite similar note, a friend of mine is practicing Civil Disobedience by tanning nude on a crowded beach in Tel-Aviv, on Friday, just when everybody's there. He's teaching people about their rights... and he had been arrested today for the third time. In the last two times he has successfully represented himself in court (after 24 hour arrest) and got out clean with no punishment. Two articles on a major newspaper. I think he's still in the cage as we speak, I was with him up until 1-2hours before the arrest. We have info already that the arrest was filmed on video by a friend. This friend has, in the past not long ago, changed his official name, on papers, to "human being". Yes. They have let him do this.
