first thing that reminded me we still "need" this thread on the forum:

"An Open Letter to Michael Moore: Make a Movie about the American Mainstream Media"

The way the MSM was essentially the Whitehouse's PR firm when it came to beating the Iraqi drums of war, that's apparently the "trigger" behind this blogger's "open letter".

But shockingly, his suggestion was covered by... wait for it...

the mainstream media! (or at least, segments of it) :o

"What did catch us off guard ... was the attention from outlets owned by major media conglomerates."

this was in July of 2007... I wonder if Moore has decided on his next propaganda piece... his silence (I assume that will be his response) will just confirm a lot of speculation that he is part of the "controlled fake-opposition" to what Mother Government is doing to her citizenry... :rolleyes:

PS: "free press myth" thread, instead of the "taser truth" thread, cuz THE SMF SEARCH FUNCTION SUCKS SO BAD THAT I CAN'T FIND THE TASER TRUTH THREAD BY SEARCHING FOR THE WORD "TASER"!

PS: "Solitarity" was Colbert's W0RD the day after the tasering incident -- and amazingly the clip included the Skull & Bones reference. :o
