Neo Wrote:I'd post some but can't figure out how to use the above buttons. Perhaps someone can describe how for everyone. A quick eye2i tutorial... Naw, on eye2nd thought, take a look here 1st: How to do all the neat postings offered on this forum (aka SMF Bulletin Board Code) <==clik here!Specifically, for the "we don't need no stinkin' directions" males here... you use the button icon in the toolbar that looks like this: (just above the row of ;D > smileys) [note, if you hover you mouse over the buttons their function should pop-up]When you clik on it, it will insert the 'image' code into your "Post reply". You will see the actual code, simply 3 letters "img" in between [ ] (brackets). The second set simply closes the code by adding a / (slash). Of course, when you actually preview and post, the code is hidden. When you clik the button, your cursor will automatically be blinking in the middle of the code, where then you simply paste the website url/link you copied for the image. ** note, you must be sure to get the image link, and not a general page link; the image link will end in an image file extension like ".gif" ".jpg" ".bmp" ".ico" etc; to get the precise image link, put your cursor on the image on the website and right clik; in the popup menu, in Firefox/Netscape choose "view image"; in Internet Explorer, choose "properties". Highlight the url/web address and 'copy'. ** [note: some websites lock their webpages and thus you won't be able to do the images this way]** Click the "Preview" button prior to posting and you can see if you're getting what you visually desire.

Re: Favorite Images Related to Waking Up
Depending on your browser, a right click on the images should offer an "image properties" or "properties" option which will reveal all. I presume from what I have seen, that photobucket has a search function.

And indeed it does:
![]() ![]() Hint: look for "direct link" or "IMG code" off to the right. |
