Feds New Offensive
Mentioned on show today:

Feds announce Calif. pot dispensary crackdown

The aggresiving (sic) crackdown comes a little more than two months after the Obama administration toughened its stand on medical marijuana. Prosecutors Friday described it as the first coordinated statewide offensive against marijuana dealers and suppliers who use California's 15-year-old medical marijuana law as legal cover for running sophisticated drug trafficking ventures in plain sight.

If government services were valuable and the market wanted them, they wouldn't be provided on a compulsory basis.

From Time to Stop the Real Reefer Madness

Quote:Instead, the Obama administration has added fist and firepower to the drug wars. Ignoring 40 years of policy failure, Obama has broken campaign promises to seek a more humane and effective drug policy. His administration has failed to support international harm reduction models, reversed a decision not to go after state medical marijuana regimes voted by popular referendums, reaffirmed marijuana’s classification as a schedule 1 controlled substance with no medical value, and expanded drug wars in Mexico and Central America.

You mean Dear Leader Obama lied to us???????? I'm soooo disillusioned. And didn't he admit to partying with ilicit substances when he was younger? Why isn't he in a cage? Oh, wait... it's "do as he says, not as he does." I forgot for a second there. After all, he's superior to us lowly scum in every way.

He's noble enough to know what's right
But weak enough not to choose it
He's wise enough to win the world
But fool enough to lose it
He's a New World man - Rush
