People did not significantly differentiate atheists from rapists
Canadian TV Wrote:For another part of the study, 105 UBC students between the ages of 18 and 25 were presented with a description of an untrustworthy person – an "archetypal freerider" who committed selfish and illegal acts when he thought he could get away with it.

Subjects were more likely to find the description representative of atheists than Christians, Muslims, gay men, feminists or Jewish people. Only rapists were similarly distrusted.

Oh good. Confused

RE: People did not significantly differentiate atheists from rapists
Oh good, in deed.

Considering they used the word "archetypal" wonder what those "students" would say about "anarchists"?!? and about Acitizens?

Interesting 2me twotoo that They didn't capitalize the word Atheist as they did The Big 3. ("They" likely being Canadian TV? Authors of the survey distinguish it thusly as well?) [my vote goes for aTheist at least fwiw; aGodist being even better]

And just what does "more likely" (out of 105) amount/account to anyhows? Similar to "majority rule"'s 51/49?

And, pertinent to consider how many of the Survey takers believe themselves to be christian/jewish/muslim/gay/feminist? (and to consider how they feel about aCanadians/aAmericans/aDemocracyans...?)
