I'm browsing this forum with FireFox 10.0.2 on a WinXP machine. It spell checks as I type... Must be magic how it underlines misspelled words with that red squiggle.

If you're skewering, I'll have to come up with a grill and some charcoal.

You attribute something to me which is not true. I happen to believe that the only solution to the current situation is a desperately worse situation. I'm not looking forward to it, but I hope for it to come, as appeasement is obviously not helping people to find principles of reality. Things are desperate and going to get more so. Yet life is a glorious gift/random-act/thing/whatever and there is no reason not to enjoy it, to appreciate it, to revel in it. Indeed, if we can't do that then what is the point of getting upset in the first place? Humor makes the medicine go down, as Julie Andrews sorta said underneath her umbrella, or something like that.
