The STATE's territorial jurisdiction is it's the geographical limits under which it can serve process. Of course there must have been "sufficient contacts". Nothing more, nothing less.

As a correlarical inquiry (don't bother looking it up, I just invented the word), I wonder how one could be "inside of" a corporation. I suppose it is just the same as when one gets "into a novel." :biggrinblue:
- NonE You know that a state is made up of the body politic, and the body politic is made up of the citizens who agree to submit themselves to something or other in order to have the protection by others from something-else-or-other, right? I mean, you DO get that, don't you? So if I do not agree then I'm not a "citizen" and hence not "in" (this is sounding more and more like a bad rendition of a Bill Clinton inquisition) the state, regardless of what physical location I may happen to inhabit at any given instant. I'm currently somewhere in the vicinity of Microsoft Windows 7. I hope I don't get a "mousing" ticket. "I just don't understand how this happens."

To sum of what I've read here so far:
1. The "assistance" provided by Marc Stevens consists mainly (entirely?) of providing questions like "Can you prove I'm in Wyoming?", "What's the difference between Wyoming and the State of Wyoming?", "Would there be an obligation to pay federal taxes if there were no constitution?", and "What's the difference between 'United States' and 'United States of America'?". 2. Those questions are claimed to work in traffic court, small claims court, and other courts which are not courts of record (which means that there's no way of verifying what actually happened in court). 3. Stevens cannot provide any evidence that anyone he has ever "helped" has ever won in a court of record. The one cite he provided, United States v. Marc Edwards, No. 05-CV-141-D (D. Wyo.), was actually a loss, with the client being sanctioned $6,000 by the 10th Circuit for a frivolous appeal. Does Stevens charge money for this kind of "assistance," or does he give it away? |
