Just another day at the office... cops murder again

Here in Chicago, the media is all aflutter over this story. Another reckless, irresponsible high-speed chase by the cops led to an innocent bystander getting creamed by the car being chased. She died. It's ironic that she worked as a police dispatcher, so you could argue she had a little blood on her hands, but she didn't deserve to be killed. Of course, the suspect and the cops were unharmed. I hope the family sues, but the police will just claim "sovereign immunity." And even if by some miracle they win, the "state" will end up paying, not the cops themselves, and they'd no doubt just raise taxes to cover it like always.
