Chris Martenson.com
Thought I'd share this site with those here. Chris seems to have spent quiet a bit of time into putting together a presentation as to how he sees the world these days.

I don't agree with everything that he has to say, but I do think that the information he's put together is worth taking a look at. He has a video presentation here:

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.chrismartenson.com/crash-course" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.chrismartenson.com/crash-course</a><!-- m -->

I couldn't help but reply to a thread in the forum here:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.chrismartenson.com/forum/unbelievable-shame-about-america/7791" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.chrismartenson.com/forum/unb ... erica/7791</a><!-- m -->

Apparently I killed the thread. Thought perhaps a few folks here might be interested in sharing their perspective.

BTW - I'm HD

I particularly 'saw' this:
Quote:If you're protecting against extortion - is it okay to extort to pay your wages?

Just one constructive (?) suggestion for consideration: your opening comment was that this is no 'America', hence no 'American'-- bringing out (I/eye think) the danger of group-think, yet towards the end there's that infernal "we" used?! Might it be more potentially enlightening to express it instead, for an example, as 'Each of us' or 'each individual'?

Then, while I totally get what you're after, you wrote this:
Quote:How many people ask for permission to do something from a fiction?
Um, if a fiction doesn't exist, can one ask permission from 'it'? I'm wondering if, if the point is to seek to "wake people up", it might be more beneficial to include the more accurate aspect, that being, the permission is being asked of the (armed) individual(s) hiding behind the use of illusion/a scam/a con? (or something similar in wording)

I hope my comments don't come across anything like being negative; rather, just in hopes of tweaking those opportunities [strike]we[/strike] one takes in hopes of optimally communicating such vitally crucial insights as you did here.

This is some nice-- and potentially vital work. I highly recommend it.

"Crash Course" Caveats

excerpt from Crash Course Caveats Wrote:Recently an "Editor's Pick" here recommended a no-charge Flash presentation by Chris Martenson about the next 20 years, appropriately called The Crash Course. I endorse that; it's outstanding. I've seen many presentations, but never one more professionally delivered. Further, its 2 ½ hour total viewing time is split into 21 short parts, so as to make it easy to absorb over a few days if need be. It is articulate, authoritative, and concise; a delight to watch, and highly topical in the present dire situation.

This article by Wilt Alston is excellent reading in conjunction with Crash Course.
