Child support

I love this country....My Daughter was sexual assulted 4 years ago, she had a child by this assult, the state steped in and placed my Daughter in a home for unwed mothers, we fought the state and my daughter was finally returned home , but not until she was 18, this happened when she was 14, the guy was sent to prison for 5 years for assult on a child, he was ordered to pay child support, but because he is in prison, she has to wait until he gets out and gets a job, in the mean time we have to pay all the bills since she is not working. I spoke with an attorney he said to talk to the state, which I did they told me there was nothing I could do, when she applies for state assistance, she is denied, they recommend she gets a job to support her child, with rent, utilities, Gas for auto, food, all the other expenses she can barely afford to live, anyway what I was told, again by the great state of texas is " if she can't take care of her child, He will be placed in child protective custody. Are we victims or criminals? I hate this Great Stae of Texas.

There is so much disturbing here that I don't know what to say.  So I'll just say that I feel horror at what you are going through.
