Quote:The " NO TAX REVOLUTION" has begun!
Unfortunately, a great deal of our present tax base represents anything but the surplus government relies upon for sustainable funding. Most of the tax base is derived either from pure consumption, or services unrelated to true productivity, creativity, or savings.

You will be shocked and dismayed to discover that by far the largest portion of government funding comes at the expense of our resource base, our environment, our personal freedom, or our children's fufure. This is the real truth about tax.

Read "The Zen of No Tax" and discover why modern taxes are so destructive and counterproductive. Then join me in the "No Tax" revolution! Together, we can make a difference.

Is this website/forum about conspiracy theories, strawman stuff.  I was told it was about life being voluntary.

You were told correctly.  This site is generally focused on the invalidity (and even illegality) of "The State" and the alternative of voluntary association.

Posts such as this specific thread's are more of a secondary interest and focus.

By the way, you might wish to visit the original AiLL forum for a better example of what the forum typically entails.  This website forum is the new we're moving over to, where the other has been up for several years.  Old AiLL Forum <==click here

LOL, yeah I apologize to the New Guy for giving the wrong impression about what the AiLL forum is all about.

PRIMARILY it's about discussing aspects of a Voluntary Society, especially by examining the myth of "representative government" and its "justice/legal system", especially using its own "sacred writings" as evidence of its folly. And as "2i2" succintly said, we try to share ideas re. voluntary alternatives to the violently coercive system currently imposed upon us.

But sometimes a few of us find things of related interest that we might post to stir up emotions, comment on, or just observe how bad the tyranny is getting (again, hopefully as inspiration more than anything).

Did I forget anything... Oh yeah, visiting the "old" forum is not a bad idea as well. Some serious, deep discussion/debate and practical "information purposes only" verbiage shared there over the last couple of years.

Well, OK.

I am a disgruntled republican looking for a better alternative, not strawman stuff.
