NSP 06/02/12 - Where's Marc?
Where's Marc? Where'd Marc go? He was there, then he was gone. LRN is playing someone else's show. Here, Marc, here, boy... come back!
ETA: Now the stream is dead. Everything happens to me. ETA 2: Okay, the Flash stream seems okay, but the Windows Media stream is down. He's noble enough to know what's right But weak enough not to choose it He's wise enough to win the world But fool enough to lose it He's a New World man - Rush |

^^ Um, no. I use Windows Media Player almost exclusively. For some reason, that went haywire today but the other streaming types were fine. Go figure.

I see we're speaking past each other here. There was a portion of the show, somewhere near the beginning, when Marc disappeared for reasons Marc's fingers probably only know, and the LRN.FM stream was replaced by an old used version of Free Talk Live. Then Marc got his act back together and booted out Ian and Mark and recaptured the "air"waves. I thought you were referring to this faux pax and I was just kinda poking Marc with a stick to see if I could get him to respond. No harm done. Now that Marc has benched "almost" his body weight he's feelin' pretty invincible, so I'm gonna have to get a larger stick, it appears. Just to warn you, Marc.... I can bench MORE than body weight!!! (I get to choose the body.) - NonE "I just don't understand how this happens."

RE: NSP 06/02/12 - Where's Marc?
^^ That is what I was talking about. Ian and crew were on for one segment, then the WMP stream went kaput, so I tried the Flash player and Marc was magically back. I had no idea if he was on Flash the whole time or not, and the problems were just with WMP. Ain't technology grand?

Come on, gimme some credit, who would talk about a bw bench press? Laying all comfortable on a bench with all that leverage... Seriously though, it was an standing overheard press. If government services were valuable and the market wanted them, they wouldn't be provided on a compulsory basis. |

RE: NSP 06/02/12 - Where's Marc?
Once again... where's Marc? Where'd Marc go? It's just after 3:00, and LRN is playing a different show. Do. Not. Like.

RE: NSP 06/02/12 - Where's Marc?
Well, listening just after 3:00 should result in just that!! ... quite normal in EDST world at least.
![]() On a more serious tact, if memory serves, marc (in a bulk email?) said there'd be no live call-in show today. [at around the 4:30 edst mark, it appeared to be a rebroadcast of last week's show] As far as the dead air bit, i of course have no idea what that snaffu is about (msn -vs- lrn) --but agreed, Dagny, what a way2run a railroad. *Atlas just shrugged* _______________________________

RE: NSP 06/02/12 - Where's Marc?
Thanks, eye2. I guess there's no live show today, but it's still dead air on LRN. You would think a tape would be preferrable, but what do I know? There's always classic rock, I guess. By the way, I'm in the Central time zone.
P.S.-- I'm about to post a response to you in another thread, so look for that. ETA: They're playing a tape after all. I think it's from last week.
