Living Free????

Living Free????
I would like to address the topic of freeing oneself from the tyranny of Governments, Banks, Control Etc...

I've spent a number of years "disconnecting" myself from Banks (Credit Cards, Loans), Voting, Answering any Gov. surveys, inquiries etc.

I have no Credit Cards, Car Loans, and soon no Mortgage. There seems to be conflicting attitudes concerning the methods used to get away from tyranny here. If mostly all debt, mortgage or credit card has been aquired by the banks and Government by deception or fraud, why is it frowned upon to rid yourself of these yolks using any legal methods you can?

Once you realize that the system is setup to entrap you at a young age and they make it impossible to get away from it. It is easy to say don't borrow, don't get a mortgage, don't get a car loan but, you really have no understanding that it is a fraudulant system until you are deep in debt!

I think the only way to work toward a free and voluntary society is to let people get a taste of freedom. They will never want to go back. This is impossible until they are freed from the tyranny of debt and work enslavement.

A little history...

9 years ago I was in heavy debt from my business in a bad economy after 9/11. I refinanced some debt to stay afloat and the economy slowly crept back in my industry. I was working 100+ hours a week to service my mortgage and debt and in 2006, I tried to modify my loan with Countrywide. They put me in a process where i couldn't make a mortgage payment during the modification application process and after 2 months, I demanded to find out what the hell is going on with my application. I told them forget it and I tried to make my mortgage payment. I was told you can't because you are in foreclosure! :o
I tried to pay all the arrears but they added $15,000 to the balance for lawyer fees. They started an accelerated forclosure and tried to sell my house. At this time I got letters from all my CC companies that my interest is now 33% because of Countrywide reporting me for not paying my mortgage when they wouldn't take payments. Nice!

I file with the bankruptcy court to stop them....it did. Chap 13 is a viable solution to someone who can afford their mortgage and housing expenses but can't service other debt (don't let anyone tell you otherwise). I took a lot of pressure off but not all. As the economy of late has ruined the economy, I found it difficult to afford my monsterous mortgage. Countrywide filed for foreclosure with the Bankruptcy court. Then....a miracle happened!
The bankruptcy trustee stopped the forclosure due to a problem with the Deed of Trust. it was voidable unter the law. Countrywide cancelled permanently the foreclosure. It has been 15 months with no word from Countrywide (Bank of America). Because the trustee found the error and in fact created an asset, he tried to take it (thank God for my Homestead). I dissmissed the bankruptcy to stop him but found that some of my old creditors came knocking....

Re: Living Free????
continued....

I found that my bankruptcy had really straightened a lot of perceptions I had about credit, creditors, etc. After lots of research (including here), I figured out how to battle them without going into bankruptcy agian. Let's just say that after 2 years not one creditor has been able to get past the initial letter phase. I've learned to step up to the plate and not cowar down to these scum. They stopped calling and most have not written me in over a year. I just used what is available in the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) to come back at them. Works great! By stepping out of Bankruptcy, I was able to attack the Deed of Trust and claim the asset myself. Before anyone thinks I got a free house, I've paid over $400,000 in P&I in the last 10 years for a $230,000 loan with refinances!

I've noticed members calling creditors criminals and murderers and thieves but, in the same post, railed about people "getting away" with not paying their bills.

My personal philosophy is get out of all debt any way you can since it was their fraud that traps you and the court system that is the warden to their prison.

The reason for this long post is....after a number of years of not paying slave debt to the banks and slowly withdrawing from "Governmental" restraints, I work less for the same lifestyle, I spend more time with my family, my stress is almost non-existant, and i teach others how to avoid the traps. Most importantly, I NEVER WANT TO GO BACK TO THE TYRANNY!

Am I out of line by suggesting that we all try to remove the straight jacket of debt and tyranny and help others do the same? Isn't this how we will increase our ranks?

Tyranny creeps in slowly and ramps up quickly. We are in the quick phase if you know what I mean now. Free men are never tricked into a wholesale removal of their rights and ownerships. People in the system never see their rights eroding whereas freemen fight every incremental change.

Just my 2 cents...post if you have an opinion.
